Olio EVO Biologico di Sicilia
Olio EVO Biologico di Sicilia
SICILIAN EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Abbà
The oil ‘Abbà’, which in Aramaic means ‘father’, is dedicated to our father, our guide, our Master!
It is produced with organically grown olives from the single variety ‘Nocellara del Belìce’ PGI Sicily, harvested by hand using mechanical processes, cold pressed and unfiltered.
Its bouquet has fruity, herbaceous undertones, accompanied by intense hints of artichoke, tomato and elegant notes of almond. On the palate, it has great structure and refinement, balanced with a spiciness that conveys the soul of a strong and powerful land: a true emotional journey.
It is ideal for fish-based dishes, but also for soups, white meats, cheeses and all dishes cooked au naturel.

The Company
The Di Lorenzo farm is located in Marinella di Selinunte, a stone’s throw from the sea, in the renowned ‘Valle del Belìce’, a picturesque place steeped in history.
It all began back in 1970 when my grandfather, enchanted by the beauty of the Belice landscape, decided to purchase a plot of land. That purchase marked the beginning of everything: the start of a business that was mainly based on the cultivation of a highly prized wheat.
The generational transition we are undergoing brings with it a love for the land, respect for the environment and for work: we focus on short supply chains in order to shorten the distance between producer and consumer.
The company logo says it all: even as children, playing in the fields, we would find lots of shells. Our father told us that millions of years ago, those places were covered by the sea, which had dried up over time, leaving those shells behind, a tangible sign of the added value that the sea wanted to leave us.
Today, they are the undisputed stars of our farmhouse mosaics!
